DPG director defects to Zoopla

The former group sales director of Digital Property Group has joined rival portal Zoopla as commercial director.

Jon Notley (pictured) has over 15 years’ experience in a range of sales roles, including sales director at Findaproperty.com and manager of classified advertising sales teams at Express Newspapers.

In his new role he has responsibility for overseeing all revenue streams and the overall sales function, identifying new opportunities and managing performance and growth.

He will report directly to Zoopla founder and chief executive officer, Alex Chesterman.

Notley says: “This is clearly a sector I know very well and Zoopla’s growth, innovation and overall strategy creates a very exciting opportunity. I am looking forward to working with the existing world-class team at Zoopla to deliver even further growth and opportunities for the business and benefits for our members.”

The appointment follows that of Lydia Goldberg as product director. She has been tasked with overseeing all trade and consumer product-related activities at the portal.
